Engineering & Solution Design

From beginning to end the optimal solution for our clients is our focal point, whether it concerns concept engineering, lay-out engineering, line engineering or detail engineering. Our team of experienced and passionate technical project managers and engineers is always working with you for an optimal solution using high-end design software. Our responsibility is realizing a solution that satisfies the latest standards in the food industry.


Our engineers make use of proven techniques when designing, however in practice every project is unique and the innovativeness of our employees is of great added value. Machines are modified to the wishes of our clients and expanded with new technology where necessary. Our project teams consist of mechanical, electrical and software engineers, so that an integrated solution can be created which leads to optimization of the production, increase of efficiency and a higher yield of your production process or that of your client.


Our production department, consisting of specialized welders, is fully focused on manufacturing constructions compliant to the increasing industry requirements. Whether single units or series production is concerned. We fully concentrate on stainless steel constructions and our production process is closely designed around the use of it. Hellings is constantly investing in its employees and the tools with which they work, to optimize the production both in quality and efficiency.


The finish of welded constructions is becoming ever more important, as per the requirements of customers. Hellings has the tools to pickle constructions, but also has access to a space for the ceramic bead blasting of constructions.

Assembly and testing

In order to deliver turn-key solutions we combine mechanical, electrical and control system engineering in the assembly phase. The machines are assembled and installed by our specialists with great expertise and precision. During assembly, there is close cooperation between engineering and assembly; our engineers are often present near the machine or line during assembly.


After assembly and fine-tuning of the machine or production line in our large and well outfitted assembly hall, we subject the machines to functional tests and check the integration between the various components. This is how we guarantee that the solution is delivered plug-and-play and without faults. We gladly invite our clients to our location to conduct a pre-delivery inspection or factory acceptance test.

On-site installatie & commisioning

Due to our high customer focus, Hellings is the designated partner for installing and commissioning machines in your production facility, as this is an important part of our total solution. We deploy our service engineers, both inland and overseas for the unpacking, installing and final testing of the machines and lines we deliver. Also, training and explanation of the machine is done by our service engineers which enables your employees to start working with the new machine as soon as possible.


This process is closely monitored and steered by our technical project managers. It is our goal to have the technician who assembled the machine also install and commission it on location. The benefit that the expertise of the machine and the responsibility is focused on one person as much as possible.

Maintenance and spare parts

Good maintenance and routine inspections of your installations and machines are very important for a reliable production process. Damage and unforeseen failure of your production process are minimized by planning this in a timely manner. Hellings takes care that periodic maintenance and checks of your machines are carried out.


For every project or machine a list of wearing parts is available, for corrective or preventative maintenance. We take responsibility for the availability of these parts, so that the machine has the necessary support for its entire lifespan.
